To Party Bus or not to Party Bus

10 Sep

We've likely all been to a wedding where there is a party bus that the bridal party hops into after the ceremony to run off for portraits.

Is a party bus right for you? Here are some reasons it might be.

You're doing bridal party images offsite

This is the biggest reason. So many bridal party images will take longer than they need to because of people getting lost, going to the wrong location, stopping for a beer run, or just generally getting distracted along the way.

Piling everyone into one vehicle (it can be a limo or a party bus) means that everyone is getting there at the exact same time, and nobody is getting lost or distracted. This improves the flow of your timeline and images, and keeps everyone less stressed out.

The energy is absolutely INSANE

Have you ever been to a party where it's nothing but your closest friends celebrating with you?

The energy is absolutely electric. Your love after being freshly pronounced married, and all of your friends love for you and your relationship, creates a massive air of just straight up excitement and energy. It's amazing. The champagne that's usually there helps, too.

Keeps you from having to worry about where you're going

You don't have to make plans to have someone drive you. Your partner doesn't have to drive somewhere. You can get in, and a member of your wedding party or the photographer can tell the driver where you're going, and then you literally just get to relax, laugh, and have fun.

What if you're not going offsite for the images?

If you are staying in one location for the ceremony, bridal party images, and reception. A party bus can still be an extremely fun way to get out some of that pent up party energy with some of your closest friends. I'd still highly recommend getting one, even if it's just to drive around for half an hour and hang out with your friends in a way that you won't be able to for the rest of the evening.
